A Different Way is a ‘show and tell’ project connecting Performing Arts for Young Audiences with Disabled artists and young people. it combines research into new approaches to co-production with artist and sector development, putting the voices of young Disabled people at the heart of the creative process.
Led by Daryl Beeton Productions with core partners, the project will create space for action and discussion to make TYA more inclusive.
There will be opportunities for Disabled artists who are new to making work with young audiences to be involved in the R&D process for 3 shows for different age groups exploring the nuances of access and inclusion. Each show will be accompanied by a ‘warts and all’ case study giving the inside track on the creative process which will be launched at the A Different Way Symposium in 2020.
